Experienced Truck Dispatcher – Canada & USA | Van & Reefer

We are currently looking for an experienced Truck Dispatcher with 7–8+ years of experience handling transportation operations in both Canada and the USA. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of freight dispatching, excellent negotiation skills, and proven experience working with dry van and reefer operations. Key Responsibilities Manage dispatch operations for trucks operating across Canada and the USA Coordinate loads and routes efficiently Book loads in advance to minimize downtime Keep drivers and trucks moving with minimal delays Find and secure profitable loads Negotiate freight rates with brokers and customers Monitor driver schedules and shipment progress Communicate effectively with drivers, brokers, and customers Handle dispatch-related issues and resolve problems quickly Maintain efficient truck utilization and consistent workflow Requirements 7–8+ years of trucking dispatch experience Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. transportation and freight markets Reefer dispatch experience required Experience with van/dry van operations Proven ability to advance-book loads Strong freight-rate negotiation skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of driver and equipment scheduling What We're Looking For: We are seeking a results-driven and experienced dispatcher who knows how to keep trucks on the road, minimize downtime, and secure competitive rates.
